Great Ways to Rock that Impromptu Road Trip
Sudden plans do not give you enough time for thorough planning but here is a list that will ensure your last minute plans are worthwhile! Road trips are never about just reaching the destination but more importantly about the journey taken together on the unraveling road.
1. An epic playlist
A tastefully made playlist with the most apt songs can set the mood for what could be the next best road trip you have taken.Next time you hear the same song you are sure to be flooded with some road trip memories.

2. A series of fun card games
We all love the age old game of UNO or bluff and it forms a staple for all cousin, friend and grandparent card game. However if you are looking for something to play with a car full of your friends bring along a pack of Cards Against Humanity. Disclaimer: Do not play this with your grandparents.

3. Picnic Basket
For the benefit of those rumbling and tumbling tummies carry knick knacks like mini sandwiches, muffins, juices, candy etc in a portable picnic basket. It is most important to be nibbling to avoid motion sickness.

4. Stop and enjoy the highway food
What is a road trip without stopping on the way for tea and cheap snacks at the local dhaba's.Get the taste of the places as you pass them by and add to the joy of the journey.

5. Carry a map or an atlas
Your phone can always give up on you and getting lost on an open road may not always be an adventure. So always keep a map handy or go old school with with an atlas to ensure you are on the right track.

6. Take pictures
Not all pictures are meant to be selfies for Instagram. Photograph the beautiful highway and far fetched places for your scrapbook's and pin up boards. So click tons of pictures to capture these moments.

7. Feel the pollution-free wind in your face
Road trips are synonymous for getting out of the polluted city life and breathing in fresh air.Stick your head out of the car and feel the fresh wind in your hair and admire the greenery around.

8. The sunset, the scenery and the stars
While you drive along the roads take a pitstop and spend a while to notice the star laden sky and the scenic sunset that you would miss in the city.

Get your back ready for a backpack
Are you ready for a trip?
Zip up your backpack and get into the car.
Wait. Have you checked whether your backpack is properly packed or not?
It can be lot simpler to pack a bag than
just stuffing in the objects.
Here are few easy ways that will ease your
backpacking problem.
- Keep it light: Don’t carry too much or too little. Ensure that those extras or additional things are deleted. This will not only give your back rest but also help you save on some money with the airlines for not being over-weighted. Tour operators in Delhi NCR, Chennai, Mumbai and other metro cities with high travel frequency and in fact, those in other countries always advise the travellers to keep their baggage less yet complete and light.
- Don’t even think of carrying any valuable assets: The idea of carrying a backpack is to carry your world that you can’t do without when travelling, just the bare minimum not something that may get lost or provoke stealing.
- They are skilful in snatching, stealing and scam-ming. Beware!
- Keep one photocopy of the flight tickets inside it. A lot of tour operators in Delhi NCR advise their clients to keep a chit of their address and contact no. inside the backpack that can actually come up as a great help in case lost.
- Carry light snacks and glucose powder to help you during the time between meals.
- Keep someone informed about your trip and the movements, including the stay.
- Keep a bottle of water or a sipper

Five places you must visit before they disappear
As the surface temperature of our beloved planet increases gradually,
some of the most beautiful locations are under the imminent threat of
disappearance. We bring you a list of places you must visit before
melting glaciers; rising sea or erratic weather get the better of them.
1) Alps

This enormous mountain range spread across eight European countries including Switzerland and Italy, was once considered the ultimate tourist destination for adventure seekers and honeymooners alike. The extensive winter sports in the mountains have suffered owing to the receding snow line. Ski resorts are desperately trying to adapt to climate changes with some trying to modify the services offered.
Some have tried to cover the glaciers with sheets of plastic fleece and wool to keep the snow from melting. Given the vastness of the region, that may not be the most sustainable option. Scientists studying climate change fear that most of the glaciers might be gone by the year 2030.
2) Great Barrier Reef

It is the only living thing on earth visible from space. Stretching over 2300km, the Great Barrier Reef is the largest reef system in the world. Apart from about 400 corals, the reef is home to coral sponges, molluscs, rays, dolphins, over 1500 species of tropical fish, more than 200 types of birds, around 20 types of reptiles including sea turtles and giant clams over 120-years-old.
From ski diving to scuba diving to snorkelling, there are many ways through which you can live the experience. World's most beautiful marine ecosystem could be gone within the next four decades unless carbon emissions are reduced, said the director of the Global Change Institute at the University of Queensland in a research published in 2011.
3) Maldives

Closer to home, Maldives is the most favourite vacation destination of Indians. Be it lazing around on a tranquil beach or diving into the sea for a snorkelling experience, you get it all in the neighbouring island nation. However, like many other similar destinations, Maldives is under the imminent threat of submergence due to rising sea levels. While locals are artificially raising some areas, in 2009 the country's government set up a fund to buy land for refuge.
4) Venice

The beautiful floating city has been on the travel list of all who love to travel. Steering through this city of love on a gondola with your special one has often been described as the most romantic experience. The Italian city has often flooded when the water levels rose but the occurrence has multiplied over the years.
While St. Mark's Square had flooded only seven times in 1900, it had happened 99 times in 1996. In 2014, the square had flooded about 60 times, said a local in an interview to the BBC. The Italian government has been working a project, known as the Moses project, to draw barriers around the city to save it from flooding. The project which was due to be completed by 2014 has now been delayed till 2017. Critics say that the project might be outdated already.
5) Majuli

Canvassed in green fields and bamboo groves, Majuli, one of world's largest river islands, is tucked in a corner in northeast India. Ferry your way from Assam's mainland to reach this island in Brahmaputra River.
While the people of Majuli depend on the river for sustenance, climate change has posed a threat to this beautiful island. As the water in Brahmputra swells unpredictably, Majuli's land is gradually getting eroded. This land of a rich cultural heritage and a colourful tradition may soon be lost to erratic climate.
Global warming also threatens to wipe some species of flora and fauna from the face of the earth. Some of the flora and fauna listed below may even be gone forever within the next couple of decades:
*Polar bear: The loss of sea ice habitat is the biggest threat facing polar bears that thrive on the fast-melting arctic ice
*Sea turtle: Climate change has had an impact on the nesting sites of sea turtles, most species of which are already endangered
*Coral reef: High carbon dioxide emissions have changed the acidity of water. This change in ocean chemistry has put coral reefs at risk
*Orange-spotted filefish: This fish dwells in coral reef habitat and with the depletion of coral reefs, filefish, as many other fishes face the risk of extinction
*Adélie penguin: Found on the Antarctic continent, this specie of penguin feeds on tiny sea anthropods called krill. With rising temperature the krill population is receding.

Choosing Between Travel Agent And Online Booking
What is the best option to book a
trip - choose a travel
agent in Delhi NCR or do it online? This must be the most daunting question
that most travelers face. Before making any decision, travelers need to
understand advantages and disadvantages for both ways.
Not that long ago, employing the travel companies in Delhi NCR was the
only option. However, with the growth of technology, more and more travelers
opt to schedule their holiday online. The prominent benefit of booking online
is that a huge amount of expense could be saved. If anyone does their own
bookings the entire expense would definitely be reduced because no extra cost
is paid to the travel agents or agencies.
Nowadays, anyone could find good
deals on hotels reservation
and flights
bookings in Delhi NCR in using search engines and professional booking websites.
However, be conscious of both the quality and price of the booking for the
travel. An important step prior to making reservation for the hotel room is to
go through the reviews and make sure of the location of the hotel room. When
looking for the flights, the same technique should work also. If the arrival
airport is away from the city, one might end up spending more money and time to
get to the desired destination even though the flight charges are low.
An additional benefit of scheduling
the trip on the internet is that it could be customized at any time according
to the preferences rather than taking a package deal through the travel agent
or agency and getting linked with a tourist group. Nevertheless travel agencies
or agents yet have the irresistible benefit that they many more sources than an
individual could actually find on the net. Generally they do not care
concerning the flight charges, however they are inclined to have additional
hold with the cruises and itineraries.
In any case, the choice between
reserving on the web and paying a travel agent must be made based on various
factors. If one is planning a plain and small journey, reserving on the web
might be your primary choice and touring by oneself would add much more fun. In
contrast, if one's travel plan is complex and tough to systematize, turning to
a travel agent for help would save you much dilemma. Also, a travel agent must
be considered when different factors are included into the tour plan like
hotels, flights, diets, itineraries and many destinations. Putting together
these arrangements and plans are what travel managers do for the living and
they are the best specialists in that. They cannot only provide you some
sensible tips and advices about the journey but also plan a vacation plan that
would meet your requirements the most. Furthermore, at times reputed best travel agencies in Delhi NCR could
help you to reduce travel expenses as they have copious resources and are
familiar with the way to acquire the best of all deals

Travel Visa
A visa is a official permission allowing a person's entry into a foreign country. There is a huge difference between a passport and a visa.
Passports are documents that allow the holder to leave the country and go overseas for a holiday, event, study or work. However, entry into a particular country is not automatically granted to the holder of a passport; one has to apply for a visa to gain entry into that country. But both are in conjunction with the other; no one can leave their country of birth or get into another country without a valid passport and a visa.
A visa stipulates certain reasons why a person will be visiting or staying in a foreign country for a specified period of time. It is stamped on the passport and is seen as a supplement to the passport, which is the main travel document. Most visas come with time limits; typically the time limit is up to six months, in certain cases it may be extended to years if prior request is made through proper channels and with substantiated documentation. However, there are very strict requirements and regulations governing visa extensions.
Even in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, not much importance was placed on passports and visas and these were not required for movement from one country to another. Large numbers of people travelled by train through the European continent and except for certain sensitive areas where some kind of personal identity of proof needed to be established at a border between two countries, by and large they were not insisted upon.
Post World War I, the scene changed with geographical boundaries and territories markedly different necessitating the need for regulating movement of people and goods. Before that, movement of goods and people only needed a paper with a stamp of approval akin to a passport.
Certain types of visas are stamped on arrival in a foreign country or through a specialized private visa service provider usually appointed by the consulate or embassy of the country, if a person is unable to appear in person. In this case, private visa consultants usually charge an additional fee to carry out the process of customer and document verification, scrutinizing applications and submitting the papers to the relevant authority. In the absence of a consulate or embassy of the visa issuing country in a person's home country, then it may be necessary for the person to travel to a third country where a consulate or embassy of that particular country exists to receive a visa approval in person.
However, such cases and far from the norm; almost all countries have consulates and embassies around the world.
The need for a visa is generally contingent upon factors like:
• Citizenship or nationality of the application
• Intended duration of stay
• Purpose or activity applicant wishes to undertake in the country of travel
There are several categories of visas for travel to foreign country with different requirements and issue conditions.
- TravelSpider is one the best passport consultants ans well as visa services in Delhi NCR.
